Almost four hours. That's how long Dave Grohl and his Sound City Players commandeered the stage at the Palladium in Hollywood for last night (Jan. 31). That's a long time for any act to perform, but this was no average show -- or average band. This was Dave Grohl performing with the likes of Stevie Nicks, John Fogerty, members of Rage Against the Machine and more. Grohl did warn the crowd "we

The Strokes’ New Album, ‘Comedown Machine,’ Due March 26
The Strokes, the "it" band of the early '00s, have confirmed that they will release their fifth album, 'Comedown Machine,' on March 26.
Something tells us the band and its camp rushed to issue a press release after a crafty user on Reddit found some link in the code on the band's website that lead to an image revealing the title and artwork. Sounds like it was a bit of a hacker discovery

All that matters is that they will grace the same stages.

Courtney Love Exchanges Holiday Tweets With Frances Bean Cobain, Slams Nirvana Members
Although their relationship has been rocky and very much in the public eye, Courtney Love and her estranged daughter Frances Bean Cobain are communicating again. Of course, most of the dialogue is coming courtesy of Love, but hey, at least it's a start.
Beck Releasing Two Albums in 2013?
Beck hasn't released a new studio album since 2008's 'Modern Guilt,' but he may make up for lost time -- and his lack of conventional releases -- by dropping two brand new albums in 2013.
Foo Fighters Cover Led Zeppelin’s ‘Rock and Roll’ at Kennedy Center Honors
Foo Fighters got the "Led" out at the 2012 Kennedy Center honors. The band performed a cover of Led Zeppelin's 'Rock and Roll,' and it did so with plenty of venom and vigor. Robert Plant, Jimmy Page and co. should be proud.
