‘Wonder Woman 2’ to Be Co-Written by ‘The Expendables’ Scribe Dave Callaham

In a move that’s sure to elicit at least a few eye rolls, Warner Bros. has tapped a male screenwriter to collaborate with Patty Jenkins on the Wonder Woman sequel. ‘Frozen’s Cast Isn’t Just Returning to Theaters This Year, They’re Also Getting New Dolls

This November, the princesses from Arendelle and their little snowman friend will return to theaters in a new animated short playing in front of Pixar’s Coco. Olaf’s Frozen Adventure will follow the quirky beach-loving snowman as he helps his friends Elsa and Anna celebrate the holiday season in Arendelle since the princesses reunited. ‘The Commuter’ Trailer: Liam Neeson’s on a Hell of a Train Ride

Before Liam Neeson completely retires from the Liam Neeson action thriller genre, he has two films on tap: Hard Powder (in which he plays a snowplow driver who goes up against drug dealers, as only Liam Neeson could), and The Commuter, which reunites the actor with Non-Stop and Run All Night director Jaume Collet-Serra. On the heels of Neeson’s retirement announcement comes the first trailer for the latter, which basically seems like Non-Stop, but this time it’s on a train and Vera Farmiga is apparently playing the evil twin of her character from The Departed.

Georgie From ‘IT’ Has Some Words for People Who Talk During Movies

The Alamo Drafthouse is a fun, chill venue full of burgers and boozy milkshakes that provides one of the most unique moviegoing experiences out there, but they’re very strict about two things: That talking and texting during the movie nonsense? Don’t do it. Just take it from Georgie, the ridiculously cherubic child from this fall’s horror sensation It.

New Study Shows Rotten Tomatoes Scores Don’t Affect Box Office

Well, that’s kinda awkward timing. On Thursday of last week, the New York Times published an article titled “Attacked by Rotten Tomatoes,” an in-depth look at the popular review aggregation site and the role it may have played in this summer’s disappointing box office numbers. The article ends with a prolonged examination of the various ways that studios are trying to “battle Rotten Tomatoes on multiple fronts,” seemingly accepting the idea that Rotten Tomatoes has been bad for the movie industry (despite the fact that Rotten Tomatoes is, in fact, owned by said members of the movie industry). The article may have been an interesting read for those unfamiliar with the controversy, but for those in the know, it was old news, part of an ongoing debate that tried to argue that critics were duping poor, easily misled moviegoers.

‘mother!’ Review: Darren Aronofsky’s Hellish Nightmare Is His Most Insane Movie Yet

It would be an understatement to call Darren Aronofsky’s mother! simply crazy. This movie is a balls-to-the-wall bonkers nightmare that feels like diving head-first through the fiery pits of hell. It more than earns its titular exclamation point; as a matter of fact, it could use at least six more of those, bolded in 50-point font. It’s a uniquely thrilling ride ribbed with shards of dark humor, but mother! is bound to be Aronofsky’s most divisive film yet. Though wildly daring, Aronofsky’s latest is a self-indulgent melting pot exploding with too many ideas that’s as enthralling as it is frustrating.
