Either that, or birds of the Capital Region wait until your car is directly in front of them to take flight.

Of all the places I've lived in New York, the Capital Region has been the only place that I'm more likely to hit a bird with my car than a squirrel.

It happened to me this morning. It happened to me yesterday morning. It'll happen to me tomorrow morning. I can't be the only one because sadly, I see these pretty little creatures lifeless on the road fairly often.

This phenomenon has me questioning myself, though: Am I cursed? Is my car cursed? Are birds attracted to the color of my car? Can birds even see color?

What do you think, Capital Region? Can you relate, or am I a crazy person? Let us know in the comments.
