Jimmy Fallon Just Dropped $100K on Saugerties High School’s Art Program
Yes! Jimmy Fallon for the WIN today!
These are the kinds of stories I love to see in the news! Especially when just earlier today I read an article about our president forging ahead with his plan to axe the National Endowment for the Arts. So it's really encouraging when you see people that are in the arts and making a good living from their art not only giving back to the arts but to the communities that helped to get them to that place.
According to the TU The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon just donated $100,000 to help fund the arts program at Saugerties High School which he just so happened to graduate from in '92. In typical Jimmy Fallon form he joked that:
If anyone there wants to return the favor with a statue of me or something, I'm totally cool with that, too.
To which the District Superintendent thanked him and responded that
He's willing to completely eliminate Fallon's disciplinary record in return.
Thank you Jimmy for being you and supporting the future of the arts!
