Trader Joe's grocery stores have been a welcomed addition to the Capital Region. The first location on Wolf Road in Colonie opened in 2012 and seems to always be busy. The parking lot is jammed and at times it is hard to find a space. There are rumors that this location may be getting bigger.

A 37-year-old Connecticut woman tried doing donuts in the snow driving her truck, but she ended up sliding into the icy harbor. Firefighters had to come rescue her, and the guy in the car with her barely made it out in time. Source: WTNH

Festival Season is coming up, so where is a good place to park?

I am a parking snob who can not parallel park because I like places with good parking but some in the Capital Region have awful parking lots where I don't have to parallel park and it makes you think: "What were they thinking when they built this place?"

It goes without saying that there should specialty parking spots for the handicapped and maybe even expecting mothers. But what South Korea is doing takes it a step further with "Women Only" parking spaces.
