Watch an Upstate New York Deer Grand Slam, Face First, Through Denny’s Window

There is something strange going on with the wildlife in Upstate New York this year. It seems to be having a peculiar effect on the deer in the area.

I'm not sure if there's something in the air or in the water this year but I can tell you that I have definitely seen some peculiar acting wildlife so far this year. In the last couple of weeks I have almost hit (or got hit) by a deer on several occasions in the middle of the day. Had multiple sightings of a wild turkey lurking behind the studios and pacing the fence relentlessly. And then now there is video of a deer in Rome hurling itself through a Denny's window and running through the restaurant while their customers were trying to enjoy their moons over my hammy!

Don't worry no one got hurt, including the deer. According to this article a cook at the restaurant was able to open a door and the deer just ran out.

However, if this wasn't enough weird Upstate New York deer news for you ... just the other day in Syracuse there was a deer spotted on the ROOF of an auto body shop! No one knows exactly how he got up there but they think he may have some how got on the highway and jumped down off the over pass. How he got down though still remains a mystery.
